The Iowa Carry Laws Have Changed. Are you ready? Gunsandmore.info has 3 NRA Certified trainers to help you gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes, necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Complete our NRA course successfully and take your certificate to your local Sheriff along with $55 fee and your permit will be issued for 5 years, (As long as you are not a convicted felon.) After January 1st 2011. We are NRA Certified to train: NRA Pistol Basic Pistol Shooting Course NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home Course We will be offering other NRA Courses soon. Call Chris at 515-480-4905 for cost and details. You may bring your own firearm but no live ammunition is allowed on premise. No Smoking or Smoking breaks will be offered anywhere indoors. No cell phones in classroom. Bring comfortable chair and cooler with any food or beverages you may need for the day. (N0 ALCOHOL) Photo ID required at sign in table.
